Application Guidelines

for Academic Year 2023-2024

Submission Deadline is February 1–March 15, 2024.

(Postmarked no later than March 15)

AWARD:
$500 to $1,000 scholarships for the 2023-2024 academic year will be awarded to high school graduating students and full-time enrolled college students. Scholarship winners will be notified and awards made no later than

June 1, 2024,

STUDENT ELIGIBILITY:
To be eligible for the Turlock Garden Club scholarship, the student shall:

  1.   Be a student of Turlock, Pitman, Denair, Hughson,

       Hilmar High Schools, Turlock Christian School, or

       a Homeschooled student. Other applicants will also

       be considered.

   2.  Be a high school graduating senior or a full-time

        college student.

   3.  Be majoring in these disciplines:
            • Horticulture
            • Forestry    
            • Botany

            • Earth/Environmental Sciences    
            • Agronomy     
            • Business as it relates to Agronomy, and other

              related subjects.

   4.  Have maintained at least a 3.0 GPA for the two most 

        recent semesters.
